Visit our wonderful valley near lake Chiemsee,
situated in one of the most popular holiday areas in the Alps.
It is a place of nature, peace and quietness with pleasant farm houses, traditional farming and three areas of legally protected nature offering a great variety of flowers and animals.
The community is engaged in preserving this countryside as Upper Bavarian "jewellery box". For this Schleching has received several environmental awards. In 2001 Schleching was honoured by the International Network "Alliance in the Alps" as "Village of the future"
